What I Offer

Custom Paintings of Birds, Animals and Flowers in Watercolour

My work focuses on the subject rather than the background. Soft washes are built up gradually, with finer details developed in the later stages of each painting. I deliberately keep backgrounds minimal, often leaving them white and uncluttered, so the viewer’s attention remains on the subject.

Whether painting a delicate wren perched on a branch or the intricate form of a protea, I capture each subject in an impressionistic watercolour style that emphasises character, form and subtle detail.

Terms & Conditions:

Turnaround Time:
Depending on the complexity, commissions usually take about 2-4 weeks. I’ll provide an estimated time frame and keep you updated on the progress.

Payment:
A 50% deposit is required upfront to begin the commission. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the artwork.

Revisions:
You can request up to 2 revisions after I send you the initial sketch. Any additional revisions beyond that may incur extra charges.

Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your commission after payment, please reach out as soon as possible. Refunds depend on the progress of the work.
